Tucked away on the coast of Baja, the small fishing town of La Ventana is the perfect gateway to one of the most vibrant stretches of the Sea of Cortez. Your tour begins as we head toward Cerralvo Island, the southernmost island in the gulf and a natural gathering point for marine life moving between the Pacific and the Sea of Cortez.

This tour is all about exploration—scanning the Sea of Cortez for wildlife of every size, from gatherings of small mobula rays and playful dolphins to impressive pelagic animals, including some of the rarest species in the world. When conditions allow, you’ll have the chance to snorkel or freedive for an up-close look. If activity is quieter offshore, we’ll explore the colorful reefs around the island and enjoy a relaxed lunch on one of its secluded beaches. Throughout the day, we capture aerial and underwater footage so you can relive the experience long after.
