What makes the Sea of Cortez special?

The Sea of Cortez is one of the most alive marine environments on Earth. UNESCO World Heritage since 2005, home to 39% of the world's marine mammal species, with whales, dolphins, mobulas, and other wildlife moving through by season.

Cousteau called it “the world's aquarium.” We run small-group trips from La Ventana where the pace is simple: watch the water, wait with patience, and let the ocean decide what the day becomes.
